Project Introduction - Jom Jom's Brand Evolution - From Fine Dining to Street Fare
We at TRC are always ready for a challenge, and Jom Jom brought us just that. Known for their upscale Asian cuisine, they reached out for what seemed like a simple menu update. However, we quickly realized there was more to the story – Jom Jom was pivoting towards a casual, street-style food concept. This insight shifted our gears from a menu redesign to a comprehensive rebranding project.

Our goal was clear: help Jom Jom transition from an elite dining experience to a go-to spot for quick, flavourful Asian street food. We aimed to attract a broader audience, appealing to those seeking fast, yet quality, culinary experiences.
Design Process
and Development
Our design process was hands-on and collaborative. We evolved Jom Jom’s logo, maintaining its essence while injecting a more contemporary feel. The colour scheme shifted to mirror the vibrancy of street food, and the interior design was revamped to match this new energy. We also created unique artwork for each dish, adding a personal touch to the menu.

Throughout this transformation, we remained focused on Jom Jom’s commitment to quality and authenticity. These values were our north star, ensuring the brand’s integrity as we introduced their new identity.
Success Metrics -
what we achieved
The rebrand was a success. Jom Jom’s new street-style image resonated with customers old and new. The response was tangible – increased customer engagement, a noticeable boost in social media activity, and, most importantly, positive feedback from the diners themselves. For us at TRC, this project was a testament to the power of adaptive branding and understanding market dynamics.
