Project Introduction

We, at TRC, took on a project of paramount importance with Kapiva, an Ayurvedic nutrition brand deeply committed to its mission of promoting wellness in harmony with nature. Kapiva is a frontrunner in the ayurvedic ecosystem, with the largest marketshare in the current climate. It is their product quality and dependability that showed us how well they deal with their business, vendors, and other relations.

The project involved the packaging design of more than 1,000 collaterals. Our task was to adapt Kapiva’s existing designs to a wide range of products, each with different sizes and specifications. It’s essential to note that Kapiva operates internationally, where packaging guidelines vary not only between countries but even within certain states. This presented us with a unique challenge – to create packaging designs that met diverse FSSAI and official  guidelines.

Significance
For TRC:

  • Strengthened Client Relationship: We managed to build and maintain collaborative relationships with prominent brands like Kapiva for over a year and running.

Our primary goal was clear: to seamlessly integrate Kapiva’s established brand identity into the packaging of their extensive product line. The objectives were twofold – maintain consistency across the product range and adapt to the varying packaging requirements across different regions.

The Science of
Packaging 

In our venture with Kapiva, we skillfully blended the artistry of design with the exactness of science, ensuring every packaging detail from dimensions to Key Line Diagrams (KLDs) delivered both visual allure and practical efficiency. The Face of Pack (FOP) and Back of Pack (BOP) were laid out to optimize brand presence and consumer interaction, with carefully calculated text sizes for legibility and regulatory conformity. Colour consistency was achieved through precise Pantone matching, enhancing brand recognition and shelf impact. We aligned with stringent labeling regulations, environmental standards, and safety measures, culminating in packaging that not only represents Kapiva’s values but also exemplifies our dedication to meticulous craftsmanship.

What We Achieved

Through meticulous adaptation of Kapiva’s branding to diverse packaging requirements, we achieved the following:

  • • Consistency Across Diversity: Despite the challenges posed by varying official guidelines, we maintained a consistent brand identity for Kapiva across different regions and multiple products, such as boxes, outer boxes, tubes, jars, etc.
